Velocity Dust
★★★★☆ 4.1
Velocity Dust isn't trying to be a serious simulator — it's loud, fast and all about the drift. You pick a buggy, tweak a few parts, and throw yourself down twisting dirt tracks. The tilt-and-tap controls took us a couple of races to warm to, but once they clicked the sense of speed was great.
All tracks and cars are stored on the device, so there's no download-before-you-race annoyance. The AI opponents are a bit predictable, which honestly makes it a nice low-pressure game for a quick lap or two. Ghost times let you race against your own best runs.
Battery drain is the only real downside — this one looks pretty and the GPU knows it. For short bursts it's a blast, especially the canyon tracks at sunset.
