About

Offline Arcade started as a shared note between a few friends who were tired of opening a promising game only to hit a 'connection required' wall. We wanted a list we could trust when the signal drops — long commutes, flights, basements, holiday cabins in the mountains.,The whole site is run by a tiny editorial team. We buy or download the games ourselves, play them for at least a few hours, and only then write. If a game pretends to be offline but nags you for a connection every five minutes, we say so plainly.,Games are picked for one simple reason: they have to be genuinely fun with the phone in airplane mode. Beyond that we mix genres on purpose — a heavy RPG one week, a tiny puzzle the next, a city builder after that. We care about controls, battery use and whether the game respects your time.,Nobody here gets paid to be nice. We write the same way we'd text a friend who asked 'what should I install before the flight?'
