Tideport Tycoon

Tideport Tycoon scratches the management itch without ever stressing you out. You lay down docks, warehouses and markets, route little cargo boats, and watch your town fill in over time. There are no energy meters or timers forcing you to wait — if you want to play for two hours straight, you can.

Everything is simulated locally, so the whole thing hums along offline. We liked how the economy actually makes sense: overbuild and your warehouses clog, neglect your fleet and ships pile up at sea. It rewards paying attention without demanding it.

It's the perfect wind-down game. Soft colours, gentle sea sounds, and the quiet satisfaction of watching a plan come together. We lost a whole evening to it and only noticed when the phone got warm.
